Photography on location brings many different opportunities to capture great photos. This shoot started out as a simple Arizona sunset with a few clouds dotting the horizon. I arrived at the previously scouted shoot location, and set up the gear to await the setting of the sun. As the sun neared the horizon a rainstorm began to build over the mountain range and before long it had developed into a full-blown monsoon. Instead of packing it in, I took the opportunity to capture a few bolts of lightning in the monsoon, in the sunset, over the mountain range.
